S.W.A.L.K - Butterflies are Little Rainbow Kisses!

Blimey, It's a scorcher of a day isn't it, absolutely blummin great!!!!! Day 3 and counting, I so hope it stays till the weekend, wanting to sort some hanging baskets out!!!

Here is my first SWALK coloured in from the new range of stamps. Isn't she adorable! Just had to use her first. I have followed Leann from her new SWALK Colouring Guide CD of which I have to say is Fantastic!!!

For a change I decided to back the whole card in the backing paper from SWALK CD 2 and used the colouriser just to give it a deeper green.  I then matted and layered 4 squares using Green Core'dinations from "So Mod" and Centura Pearl Card. Next I used 2 embossing folders on the Centura, one Beatrix Potter Flowers and the other one is from Crafts Too,  I then coloured the little girl in using Speccies and added the sentiments, a few gems and then used my butterfly punch again!!!

S.W.A.L.K. "Sweet Stuff" Decoupage Card

Hello!! Hope the weather is okay where you are, we have just had a torrential downpour of hailstones!!! OMG the noise in the conservatory was horrendous and now the sun is shining, british weather is just "pants"!!!

Anyway onto the good stuff or should I say "sweet stuff"! A card I have made with the SWALK decoupage kit which is absolutely gorgeous.
I have used core'dinations to matt and layer with and used a backing paper and a border from SWALK CD2. I added a sentiment from the "A Little Bird" stamp plate and then coloured in a little bird and encapsulated (like that word!!) into an Epiphany!
Added a few butterflies from a punch that I have had for years which I forgot I had!!! OMG!!! There were more punches too in the box that I had totally forgotten about so given them a new home so I remember (I hope!)
Hope you like her!

Faerie Poppets - The Charm Gatherer

Love these decoupage Faerie Poppets, look so delicate when they are made up!
I have used yellow paper from my stash, wanted something quite vibrant but didn't have core'dinations this bright or I would of used that!
I have used backing paper from the Paintbox Poppets CD and colourised it purple!
I then added some purple ribbon with a couple of "Mei Flower" buckles, added a sentiment then popped some flowers on with a little glitter on top of my Elegant Scrollwork die!
Hope you like it!

A Year with Humphrey - Roses are Red!

Here's my first card made with the new "A Year With Humphrey" stamp range.
Quite a simple easel card using a scalloped heart!
The backing paper is from the "Occasions" CD and I have used red core'dinations card stock and embossed it with a heart folder!  I cut out a smaller heart to use as the stopper and stamped it with a co-ordinating greeting from the stamp plate and coloured it with my Speccies added a heart gem.
I then coloured in Humphrey following Leann's guide from "A Year with Humphrey" CD 2 and finished off with a rose and added some Diamond stickles to it!

A Year with Humphrey - Get Well Card

My 2nd post of the day!
This is my first card using the new "A Year With Humphrey" CD.
I used all the elements from the Card Companions sheet on the CD and the backing paper is from Humphreys "Occasions" CD. The only extra I added were the gems!
I made this card for my friend's sister as she is poorly at the minute. I hope she likes it!

Sarah Kay Cards!

I was asked by my friend Franki to make a couple of cards for her shop.  I have never used Sarah Kay stamps before so was delighted to be given the opportunity.  The first one is "Pia" isn't she gorgeous.
When I coloured the image with my Speccies I remembered about the tips that Louise showed me when she came to do a demo day in Darlington a few weeks ago (hope it looks ok, Louise!) I just wanted the skirt to have a bit of a flow, if you know what I mean.
I used Core'dinations card stock and the backing paper is from SWALK CD1.  I used a Crafts Too embossing folder onto centura card which gave a lovely effect and then added pearls, memory box elegant swirl die and a couple of flowers, so here goes, hope you like it!

Must tell you, Franki just text me a little while ago to tell me that my card did the trick and she sold this stamp to a customer! Whoo Hoo!

My next card is "Jean-Luc playing ball with Claude"
For this one I used my Core'dinations again, Paintbox Poppets backing paper from the CD and then coloured the image with Speccies.
I used an X-Cut die of which I coloured around the edges in blue, I didn't have a suitable ink pad colour so I used my Dauber Duos and a dry wet wipe to rub around, they work really well! Next I added a few buttons and used a stamp from the Paintbox Poppets Sentiment stamp range and coloured it with Speccies!
Quite a basic card but I hope you like it!
